It’s almost time to “Fall Back”! The first Sunday in November means those got a chance to leave office early should try getting rid of the habit; and start giving yourself the gesture to stay to late hours. If you're up and and first thing you think about is ending up the meeting early and come back home, well you can start looking at the other side of the game. The other side of it offers a little comfort and bandwidth in sending up those status mails an hour late. Or if you are of the kind that takes time to finish up an excel workbook, well you have an another hour at your own risk. Nevertheless Daylight Saving Time ends at 2am on Sunday, Nov. 6th. That means for most people in the India, clocks will go an hour late and return to standard time.
According to the U.S. Department of Transportation:
"Under law, daylight saving time is observed from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, with the nation returning to daylight saving time starting Sunday, March 11, 2012. Prior to legislation that took effect in 2007, daylight saving time was observed from the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October. Federal law does not require any area to observe daylight time, but those that do must follow the starting and ending dates set by the law. No resetting of clocks is required for those parts of the country not observing daylight time: Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Marianas."
You've probably heard this reminder before, but don’t forget it’s also a great time to change your alarms accordingly. You like it or not set back your clocks.
How do you feel about Daylight Saving Time ending? Do you prefer, or the other way around?
Btw the post is intended for people like with me who work in close collaboration with their U.S Counterparts. For the rest, chill go have a life and get drunk tonight…!!
The TIME is now for you to EXPRESS yourself and comment below!
