Ok I was on a break from blogging business. Work had been too hectic these days. Nevertheless now that I am on a vacation, time to put something on the page.

Recently I had a chance to visit Sydney. Though the visit was purely business (i mean it in the strict sense) I got some chance to see the city around and do some kind of random walks by the street and of course the visit to Manly island just brushed away all the hectic work week bruises.

I was there in the first week of June and apparently it was winter. The city welcomed me with a fresh sense of air and rain. Yes that was supposed to be a break from my fuck shit life in Pune.

The site of the first British colony in Australia, Sydney was established in 1788 at Sydney Cove by Arthur Phillip, commodore of the First Fleet, as a penal colony.[5] The city is built on hills surrounding Port Jackson which is commonly known as Sydney Harbour, where the iconic Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge feature prominently. The hinterland of the metropolitan area is surrounded by national parks, and the coastal regions feature many bays, rivers, inlets and beaches including the famous Bondi Beach and Manly Beach. Within the city are many notable parks, including Hyde Park and the Royal Botanic Gardens.

The above mentioned information can be referred back to Wikipedia and moreover I do not want to bore the Sydney note with my business experience so I will straight away share some pictures.
