Well we say a lot of stuff when it comes to iPhone. We condemn apple for it’s look alike to android and over priced gadgets, but the truth is it has truly revolutionized the way we used our cell phone. I find the comparison analogous to that of branded medicines vs generics. Branded medicines takes almost 10 years of research ,clinical trials and intense process before the commercial team comes into picture and it starts minting money. In a parallel universe there is generic drugs which are reverse engineered molecules of the branded drugs. They are cheap, widely available.
